Some rides are about the challenge.
Some are about the scenery.
And some rides are simply about getting the crew together, making memories, and having an awesome day on the trails.
This was one of those rides 👊
For this adventure, we had almost the entire Oak Hill Crew out riding, along with some of our minis joining in for the fun as we headed out for a Mother’s Day BBQ ride to Connick Dam.
The Route
Oak Hill → Pipeline → Mann Road → Connick Dam → County Line → Oak Hill

The trails gave us a little bit of everything throughout the day. Some fast sections, some rougher spring conditions, and of course… mud.
Lots of mud 😅
Spring Conditions Were Perfect
If you’ve spent any time ATVing in New Brunswick during spring, you already know what the trails can look like this time of year.
Water holes, slick sections, soft ground, and surprise mud pits around every corner.
The crew handled it well, but not without a couple moments.
Both Just Not McAdam and 60 Cent Piece found themselves getting a little stuck along the way, which naturally led to plenty of laughs from the rest of the group.
Because what’s an ATV ride without at least one recovery story?
Miss My Phone and Mini Miss My Phone Took On Everything
One of the highlights of the day was seeing Miss My Phone and Mini Miss My Phone taking on the muddy sections without hesitation.
The minis had an absolute blast all day long, and honestly, seeing the younger riders out building confidence and enjoying the trails makes rides like this even better.
There was nonstop laughing throughout the ride, and the atmosphere from start to finish was exactly what Oak Hill Crew is all about.
Family, friends, and a bit of mud.
BBQ at Connick Dam
The ride out to Connick Dam made for the perfect Mother’s Day adventure.
Good food, good company, and a chance to relax for a bit before heading back out on the trails toward the County Line route and eventually back home to Oak Hill.
These are the kinds of rides that stick with you long after the mud gets washed off the machines.
Final Thoughts
This ride reminded us why we love ATVing in New Brunswick so much.
The trails, the laughs, the unexpected moments, and getting to experience it all with family and friends make every ride worth it.
We’re already looking forward to the next adventure.
