Family Day in New Brunswick called for something a little different this year. Instead of firing up the ATVs, the Oak Hill Crew packed up and headed to Timber Lounge Axe Throwing for an afternoon of axe throwing, competition, and crew chaos.
Trading Mud for Bullseyes
We’re used to mud, throttle, and trail debris — but axes? That was new territory for some of us.
The day started with practice throws. Some of us found our rhythm quickly. Others… not so much. There were a few impressive bullseyes and a few throws that made everyone instinctively step back.
The Controversy
As the competition heated up, so did the drama.
Real Rookie fought hard and earned a spot in the finals — but rumors started swirling about some behind-the-scenes influence from The Boss. Whether it was strategic encouragement or light-hearted bribery depends on who you ask.
That opened the door for This Guy Knows Things to step in — and he made it count. Cool under pressure, steady aim, and suddenly we had a champion crowned.
Was it skill? Was it luck? Was it politics?
We’ll let the comment section decide.
The Full Crew Was There
It wouldn’t be an Oak Hill outing without the whole gang:
- 60 Cent Piece
- Just Not McAdam
- No Dirt Please
- Makes His Own Way
- Snacks
- Miss My Phone
- Real Rookie
- F*T 2WD
Different setting. Same laughs. Same friendly rivalry.
More Than Just Trails
What we love most about these off-trail days is that it’s still about the same thing — getting together, having fun, and making memories. Whether it’s mud flying or axes sticking, it’s always a good time when the crew’s together.

Was there bribery?
And who needs more practice before the next showdown?
